What do I do to start the building process? To get more information, a great place to start is to contact us about the community or home you’re interested in. Please email Josie at jmarshall@avbinc.com for information on building your new home. Another great option is to visit open houses. These are a casual way to get more information on the building process, available homes, available sites in the community, as well as floor plans, features, and finishes.
How long does the building process take? This can depend! Some clients take more time up front to dial in options and customize their floor planning which may elongate the process. Once you sign your building agreement, you’ll be in your new home typically between 10 to 12 months.
Do I have to build the floor plans you have? No! You are not locked in to a specific floor plan; you can build whatever you’d like. You may consider bringing in your own floor plan that you found or you could sit down with a designer and draw your home from scratch; these options typically add cost and take more time to complete. Most clients find that they can modify one of our plans and get exactly what they’re looking for.
