Ascension Borgess Health celebrated their new AVB built Behavioral Crisis Center last month with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Created as an 8-bed behavioral crisis center, this new addition to the Borgess Health Main Hospital is part of the Borgess Emergency Trauma Center but separated by doors and intended to offer dignified care and privacy.
The new center is designed to have reduced traffic flow and a quieter atmosphere to provide a safe and healing environment for behavioral crisis patients. A specific waiting area for families is included within the new center and each of the beds is equipped with sound dampening and a television to help sooth the patients while they receive the appropriate care.
AVB is proud to be a long term partner with Ascension Borgess Health.
