Celebrating New Development, 315 Frank Street
We have started construction on a new mixed-use development on Frank Street in Kalamazoo’s Northside neighborhood. Developed by Jamauri Bogan, a former Western Michigan University football player, and his company, Bogan Development, we are so proud to be his chosen construction management team on this impactful project.
315 Frank Street will help address the need for housing in Kalamazoo, featuring 13 new housing units, two designed for people making 60% Area Median Income (AMI), six for 80% AMI, and five are market rate. Additionally, this new development will include an on-site childcare center through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo.
The Top Colors of 2023
According to the latest design trends for 2023, warm colors are predicted to be a major interior color trend. We are talking rich, earthy tones such as burnt orange, deep red, and mustard yellow being popular, as well as more neutral, muted, colors like taupe and sage green. Even shades of pink, from blush to magenta, are expected to be popular, as well as shades of blue, from navy to sky.
The top paint brands have announced their "Color of the Year" and we are loving the warm tones. A New Locker Room for the WMU Women’s Basketball Team
We are excited to partner with Western Michigan University on their Women’s Basketball Locker Room renovation within the Reid Fieldhouse. This renovation will expand the square footage of the existing space, add a new team lounge area, and incorporate a nutrition station. Additionally, personalized state-of-the-art lockers will be added to an expanded locker room space, with digital signage, upgraded finishes, and improved lighting. New furniture, audio/video technology, a team room, and a wet area will top off (what we believe will be) one of the finest team locker rooms in the Mid-American Conference.

Fall Safety Training: Promoting Safety Culture
We have been committed to the well-being of our employees and community since our inception. As a result, we have created a culture where safety and regulatory compliance come first. Part of living this safety-focused mindset is continuing education for our employees. This month our residential framing team came together to be reminded of the importance of fall safety; participating in a 3M Fall Safety course at one of our Kalamazoo communities, Walden Woods. We are proud of our team for keeping safety top of mind while they build great places to live and work every day.
