Tall Timbers is Now Open!
We are thrilled to announce that after a little over 2 years of construction (and 1 tornado), Tall Timbers tower A is officially open and leasing! Residents began moving in on December 2nd, with additional move-ins continuing daily. The second and third towers are scheduled to be completed and ready for move-in throughout January and February.
We couldn’t be more proud to celebrate the grand opening of Tall Timbers, a project that holds a special place in our hearts. Nestled in the heart of Portage, this stunning development sets a new standard for modern living with its thoughtful design and exceptional amenities.
Tall Timbers features three towers, all seamlessly connected, and proudly boasts Portage's very first underground parking facility. Beyond the practical, the development embraces a lifestyle of luxury and community with:

Every great project has its challenges, and for Tall Timbers, Mother Nature tested us in an unforgettable way. When a tornado swept through the site, it caused delays that set us back a few months. But true to the spirit of this project, we came back stronger—rebuilding with even greater precision and care. Now, these apartments stand as a testament to resilience, teamwork, and our commitment to excellence.
As we step back and admire the finished product, we’re reminded of the incredible journey that brought us here—from initial designs to the final touches. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome residents to this vibrant new community and see Tall Timbers become a cherished part of Portage.

After 43 Years, We Steel Love Construction ft. 650 Trade Centre

This five-story, 100,000-square-foot Class A office building is strategically located near Westnedge Avenue and I-94. Designed by Yamasaki Associates, it features modern glass corners and a brick exterior, blending seamlessly into the Trade Centre development.
At the core of its design is a robust steel framework, chosen for its strength and flexibility. The steel supports expansive floor plates, high ceilings, and a 78-foot height, making it one of Portage's tallest buildings. Additionally, steel's recyclability and the building’s energy-efficient systems contribute to its sustainable profile, meeting LEED certification standards.

Earlier this month, we gathered at The Desenberg in downtown Kalamazoo to celebrate the holidays and another incredible year with our team. It was a joy to see not only our amazing team members but also their friends and family, who help make everything we do possible.
