Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters…the list of pets could go on! We love our furry and feathery friends, but are they welcome in your new home? Of course!
It is often thought that in new construction or specifically condominium communities that pets are not allowed. That is not the case for any of our single family communities nor our condo communities including Bridgeview at Angels Crossing, Walden Woods, and Whisper Rock. We want you and your best friend to live in the same home. Each community may have different elements discussing the amount and size of your pet(s), so please refer to the master deed of the community you are interested in for more information.
One of the best things of working with you and your pets is that we can help you design areas of your home specific to your fur babies. Below are a few ideas!
Pet shower: no more giving Fido a a bath in your bath tub! Make space for his own shower and make your life so much easier.
Play area: do you need a space for your pets to run around with the kids? Lower level recreation rooms are a great option, or create a flex space on the main floor.
Location/ease of letting the dog out: it’s chilly and the dog needs to go potty. Ughhh, do you really want to have to walk all the way down the stairs and through the garage with a leash? Design your primary space with easy access to let the dog out!
Storage space: where does your doggo eat? Drink? Get her treats? Create a space in your pantry that’s perfect for all of your dog’s goodies. Another great space may be in the mudroom. Are you always taking the dog for a walk? Set up a station to hang her leash, extra treats, and sweater for when it gets chilly.
Doorways: and sometimes, you need a special door for that special pet! If you designate a space for your pet, why not have a door that only they can fit through?
