After AVB’s successful addition of Sekisui Voltek’s plant in Cold Water, Michigan, AVB, alongside design partner Abonmarche, was reselected as their construction manager for their new plant, which will be located adjacently to the existing one.
This new plant will be seated on a 20-acre lot located next to the current facility and with 40,094 square feet dedicated to production space, 3,012 square feet for a Milling room, and 2,631 square feet for office space.
Key features will include a cooling tower with process water loop, a compressed air loop, truck and ground level docks, and an irradiation vault.
Upon completion, this new plant will increase production capacity by 20 percent.
To ensure Sekisui Voltek’s daily operations continue to run smoothly while the new building is being constructed and production at the current plant remains at full capacity, AVB will need to communicate expertly.
