AVB was chosen to construct FEMA’s 21,000-square-foot addition to its existing facility. This expansion came in response to FEMA’s growing needs and the demand for more space to house new amenities.
This two-story addition includes guest and visitor reception, general and private offices, meeting space, restrooms, as well as training and conference rooms to enhance the needs of the various departments in support of FEMA’s core business functions. The new space matches the existing building in width, height, roof slope, and structural systems.
It took expert communication from AVB to ensure FEMA’s daily operations continued to run smoothly as their new addition was being constructed.
