Borgess Health (now Ascension Borgess) is a certified primary stroke center and in 2006 opened the region's only dedicated neuroscience institute, which is now the Ascension Borgess Brain and Spine Institute.

The 45,000 square foot medical facility is enveloped in glass housing. The exterior includes approximately 15,000 square feet of custom fabricated aluminum curtain-wall and approximately 7,500 square feet of profiled siding panels. This $10+ million dollar institute features state-of-the-art imaging and medical technologies.
